Thai Massage
Thai Massage is believed to have been developed by Jivaka Kumar Bhaccha, a physician to Buddha more than 2500 years ago in India. Eventually it made its way to Thailand with techniques and principals influenced by Ayurvedic and Chinese Medicine.
This interactive manipulation of the body uses passive stretching and gentle pressure along the bodies energy pathways. It is done on a padded mat on the floor with the client wearing loose comfortable clothing. No oil is applied. The therapist will guide you through a series of yoga like stretches using muscle compression, and acupressure. It has been described as both relaxing and energizing.
